My Life, Animated (the "Service") respects your privacy and handles only the minimum information necessary, as described below.

1. What you enter

The Service works without sign-up or login. Your name or nickname, birth year and month, the moments and years you pick, and any moment you write yourself are never sent to a server. They are used only inside your browser to draw the animation. Your last answers may be kept in this browser’s local storage so you can edit them next time, and you can clear them at any time in your browser settings.

2. Saving the video

"Save as video" uses your browser’s recording feature to create the video on your device. The video is not uploaded to any server and only leaves your device when you download or share it yourself.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The Service may use cookies to serve ads and understand how the Service is used. You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may be limited if you do.

4. Advertising (Google AdSense)

The Service shows ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits. Learn more and change your preferences in Google Ad Settings.

5. Analytics (Google Analytics)

The Service may use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand visitor numbers and traffic sources. This information is used only for statistics and does not identify you. The names and moments you enter are never sent to analytics.

6. Share links

A link created with "Share link" contains your name, birth year and month, the moments and years you picked, and any moment you wrote, encoded in the URL. Anyone with the link can see this, so leave out anything you don’t want others to know.
